If you鈥檇 like to hear the voices of past and present sa国际传媒 Concert Choir members performing together, now鈥檚 your chance.
The Choir and alumni will perform Saturday, April 23 at 5 p.m., at the Saint Paul United Church of Christ, 115 W. B St., in Belleville. The event is free and open to the public.
Professor of Music Andy Jensen, DMA, will conduct the performance, with piano accompaniment by Gail Long.
鈥淎fter a decade teaching at SWIC (and a world-altering pandemic) I’m feeling very nostalgic and reflective,鈥� Jensen said. 鈥淭his concert is filled with songs our choirs have performed over the past ten years and has brought together over 50 students and alumni for a weekend of friendship and music.鈥�
The concert will include music by composers such as Eric Whitacre, Kim Andr茅 Arnesen, John Leavitt and Emma Lou Diemer, to name a few.
