Duties/Responsibilities:
鈥� The ability to read shop drawings.
鈥� Experience on table saw and miter saw. Hand-held routers, etc.
鈥� Knows dadoe method or dowel method of cabinet construction.
鈥� Drawer building experience is a plus and working knowledge of the different types of drawer slides.
Quality check the cabinet before moving off assembly bench.
鈥� Build laminate and solid surface countertops as per plans.
鈥� Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
鈥� Completion of a training program or apprenticeship will be advantageous.
鈥� Prior experience as a Cabinet Maker, any pictures of completed projects would be helpful.
鈥� Good arithmetic skills.
鈥� Excellent teamwork skills.
鈥� Attention to detail.
鈥� Physical fitness, including ease of movement and the capacity to
lift up to 75 pounds.
鈥� Current CDL (or the ability to obtain a CDL), DOT Physical and Drug test.
鈥� Read a tape measure accurately.
